RealDash is the most sophisticated visual-dashboard product I've found in this adjacent space. The product is built around "Pixel Perfect" dashboards — high-quality animated gauges, telemetry overlays, OBD-II integration, racing simulators, and a gallery of free and premium downloadable dashboards. Their subscription model (around 24€/year) unlocks full features and shared community dashboards.
For racing, sim driving, OBD diagnostics, performance tracking, and gauge-heavy visuals, RealDash is genuinely excellent. Power users can bring their own custom graphics and create dashboards tailored to specific cars, racing classes, or simulators.
If your main goal is "show me my RPM, boost, water temp, and lap times beautifully on the screen," RealDash does that better than anything else in this neighborhood.
Saint Studios is a launcher theme platform — the home screen, app shortcuts, music controls, navigation widgets, clocks, panels. RealDash is a dashboard / gauge / OBD platform — the data view during driving. Both improve your car's screen, but they target different use cases and different parts of the driving experience.
Saint includes a free Photoshop-style design studio that runs in any browser. RealDash dashboard creation requires their app + custom graphics workflow, often involving file copying onto the head unit. Saint's creation environment is a normal computer; RealDash's is more deeply tied to their runtime.
RealDash has a gallery of free and premium dashboards. Saint Studios has a self-serve marketplace where any registered designer can publish themes, set their own price, and keep up to 85% per sale. Saint's creator side is more open and transparent; RealDash's premium content distribution is more curated.
Importing custom RealDash dashboards onto a head unit typically involves copying files to the unit and importing them in-app. Saint's Cloud Push delivers themes over WiFi automatically — pair the device once with a 6-digit code, then everything arrives in the background.
These are honestly different products. Many car enthusiasts will use both — Saint Studios for the everyday launcher experience, RealDash for performance / track / OBD use cases.
