Saint Studios ("we", "us") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy
explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you
have. By using the Service, you agree to this Policy.
1. Information We Collect
We collect the following:
- Account information: name, email address, hashed password, and any profile fields you choose to provide.
- Payment information: processed by Stripe. We do not store your full card number; we store only Stripe customer IDs, payment-intent IDs, transaction amounts, and license records.
- Device pairing data: the device IDs of head units you pair to your account, paired-state timestamps, and license bindings.
- Theme activity: which themes you have purchased, downloaded, or pushed to a device.
- Designer profile data (designers only): display name, bio, payout method, social links, themes published.
- Communications: support requests and emails you send us.
- Usage analytics: aggregate page views, feature usage, and anonymized session data via Google Analytics 4. We exclude internal traffic from analytics.
- Technical logs: IP address, browser/device info, and timestamps for security and debugging.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To create and operate your account, deliver themes to your paired devices, and process Pro subscriptions.
- To process payments and pay out designer earnings.
- To send transactional email (purchase confirmations, password resets, security alerts) and, where you have opted in, product announcements.
- To improve the Service through aggregate analytics and feature usage data.
- To detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents.
- To comply with legal obligations.
3. How We Share Your Information
We share information only with the following:
- Stripe — for payment processing, subscription billing, and chargeback handling.
- Email delivery providers (SMTP / Resend) — for transactional and notification email.
- Google Analytics 4 — for aggregate usage analytics. You can opt out via Google's tools or browser settings.
- Hosting providers — for the operation of the Service.
- Designers — when you purchase a designer's theme, the designer is given the buyer's display name and aggregate sale information for their dashboard. We do not share buyer email addresses with designers.
- Law enforcement and authorities — only when legally required.
We do not sell your personal information.
4. Data Security
We use industry-standard practices to protect your information: TLS for
data in transit, hashed and salted password storage, encrypted theme
payloads at rest on devices, rate limiting, and access controls. No system
is perfectly secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.
5. Cookies & Tracking
We use session cookies to keep you logged in and analytics cookies (via
Google Analytics 4) to understand how the Service is used. You can control
cookies through your browser settings; disabling cookies may affect
functionality.
6. Your Rights
You can:
- Access, update, or correct your account information from your account settings.
- Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you by emailing support@saintstudios.io.
- Request deletion of your account and associated personal data, subject to legal retention requirements (e.g. tax records related to past purchases).
- Opt out of marketing email at any time via the unsubscribe link in any marketing message.
7. Children's Privacy
The Service is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly
collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child
has submitted personal information to us, contact us and we will delete
it.
8. International Users
The Service is operated from the United States. By using the Service from
outside the U.S., you consent to the transfer and processing of your
information in the U.S.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will
be noted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date and, when
practical, communicated by email or in-app notice.
